Our objectives

It is worth noting that WebCapital has frequently invested in companies still in the seed capital phase, in which its analysis work, research, approach and involvement in the growth of projects for companies has been fundamental. The experience gained in these companies is critical for successfully learning about the venture capital profession in general, as it means that we have participated first hand in the start-up, growth and consolidation of companies in highly competitive environments, with risk factors which do not exist in other types of investments. WebCapital has earned a deserved reputation among the entrepreneur community in our country.

WebCapital usually acquires a minority shareholding in companies. General management of the company is left to the management team, although constant support is given by the Management Committee. Notwithstanding this, WebCapital has a presence on the Board of Directors of the company, thereby offering an outside point of view and its knowledge in order to promote the development of the company. WebCapital has invested a maximum of €500,000 in each transaction. On occasions it has co-invested with other funds and business angels,which have joined the operations structured by WebCapital.
