TOURNAMENT SONY ERICSSON CHAMPIONSHIPS Recinto Ferial Casa de Campo - From the 6th to the 11th of November Grupo Financiero Riva y García, will sponsor a box in the pretigious female tournament Sony Ericsson Championships. This is the most representative in the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour circuit. In this tournament, the 8 best players of the season will dispute the title of World Champios of the Year. In 2007, for second time consecutive, this tournament will take place in Madrid, and as we seen last year, it will be an unique opportunity for our clients to enjoy this professional sport. Players like Sharapova, Henin, Mauresmo, Clijsters and the Williams sisters, are some of the ones who will be summoned to this pretigious sport event. OPEN 2007 SABADELL ATLÁNTICO The traditional "Trofeo Conde de Godó" will take place in Barcelona from 26th April to 4th May 2008.Grupo Financiero Riva y García, will repeat as a sponsorship one of the tournament boxes, where our client guests will enjoy the prestigious competition. Once again, the veterans competition, the BlackRock Tour of Champions, will take place from 26th to 27th April, with special appearance of legendary John McEnroe, who decided to participate again in 2008, after his previous years good experience. Other spanish players, were also among the shortlisted.
The actual Conde de Godó tournament will take place from 28th April to 4th May, which will be more exciting than ever, counting with the presence of the best international players.
The past Open Seat 2007, beat the 100,000 visitors for the firts time, probably due to the increase of the new central court capacity (7,200 seats). Likewise, the Village area was once again the meeting point for business men, sports men, politicians, show business stars, celebrities..... transforming the Godó into a great social event and a new sort of business meeting point. This gave Riva y García the chance to strengthen its brand name and image. |

Palau de la Musica, The Festival programme includes Juliette Greco, Gloria Gaynor, Antonio Orozco, Maria Dolores Pradera, Pancho Cespedes, Georges Moustaki, Los Chicos del Coro, El Coro de los Niños de Uganda, Ana Belén, Nawja Jean, Miriam Makeba, Toquinho, Emir Kusturika, Golden Gate Quartet, Milladoiro, Jane Birkin, Pastora, La Locomotora Negra & La Vella Dixieland, Nana Mouskori, Rosana, Barbara Hendricks, María Bayo, Joaquín Cortés and Chambao. All these artists have two things in common: talent, and the ability to thrill us with a performance that we will never forget. The Palau de la Música Catalana, and the Tívoli Theater, with the Joaquín Cortés show, will host the 9th Mil.lenni Festival.
